Shaun Foaden

Shaun Foaden joined Unilever in 1988 and spent ten years in a range of R&D and product development functions, both at corporate and operating company level, developing new manufacturing processes as well as launching new products onto the market. Shaun also has three years’ experience in the cosmetics industry, where he supported innovation and new product development processes, both for Coty Lancaster and for a small Dutch family business.

In 2000 Shaun joined Gemini Consulting, where he worked on large-scale transformation projects, mainly for major chemical multinationals. He left in
2003 to co-found Implementum, where he worked on a wide range of strategic and operational excellence projects. Since 2006, Shaun has worked as an independent consultant on similar projects in industry, as well as in the Business Intelligence area.

Shaun was born in South Africa and holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Natal, an MBA from Warwick Business School, and a PhD in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
